STEM Camp
The Marjorie Lee Browne STEM Discovery Camp
A free, three-week summer program for rising 7th and 8th graders in Memphis.
The STEM Discovery Camp is designed to create pathways for students to become mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and computer scientists. It is primarily focused on mathematics and problem-solving because learning to love math and see it everywhere around you is the gateway to all STEM knowledge. Campers also get hands-on science and engineering experience.

MTR prioritizes students from our partner middle schools:
Believe Memphis Academy, Binghamton Christian Academy, Compass Binghampton, Compass Berclair, Compass Frayser, Compass Orange Mound, Collegiate School of Memphis, Douglass K - 8, Grizzlies Prep, Journey - Hanley Middle, Kingsbury, Lester Prep, New Hope Christian Academy, Soulville, and Treadwell.
Current 6th and 7th graders attending other schools in Memphis can apply as well and would be placed on the waitlist. Our focus is on empowering students interested in STEM from under-resourced neighborhoods. Students on the waitlist would need to contact STEMcamp@memphistr.org in early April to check on their status.
