Fellows are undergraduate students of color who get to teach in our middle school STEM camp, observe best practices from mentor teachers, and attend seminars to learn more about the impact of education and faith on the historical and modern civil rights movement.
What 2024 Fellows Are Saying…
“Literacy is a huge issue in this country. If you want to be a small part that helps fill this gap, then this program is for you. Students left reading so much better than when they came! It also allows you to grow as a teacher because MTR provides so much support and feedback.”
Kinley thompson,
LITERACY fellow
“The STEM Fellowship gives you so much room to grow and learn as an educator! Everyone in this program gives it their all every day for the campers, and the campers themselves are so wonderful!”

“My favorite part of the STEM Fellowship was the incredible sense of community and the connections I made. At camp, I connected deeply with the students. The staff created such a warm and welcoming environment that everyone felt like part of a family almost immediately. This summer was truly special.”
